I'll be speaking to the GOYA organization of Daytona Florida--for anyone who doesn't know, that's the Greek Orthodox Youth Association--at a luncheon after church on Sunday, April 26th. MAY 12th
I'll be speaking to the Hellenic Culture Society at the National Park Visitors Center on Market Street in Lowell; the event begins at 7:00. I'll be speaking to the residents at Overlook at 7:45 on Wednesday, May 13th. The facility is located in Charlton, Mass, near my hometown of Worcester, but I've never been there before and am excited to check it out. EventsNorth of Ithaka was released in May, 2005. Since then, I've speaking about the experience of writing it at, and showing photos of my time in Lia, events in places ranging from my hometown of Worcester, Mass, to Dallas, Texas. It's been really fun, as I've met so many interesting people. I even had a protester in Worcester, which was highly exciting. As I continue to make plans get for future readings or events, I'll post the details in the event section at left.
If you have suggestions for an anyplace that should be added (a good bookstore for a reading, a Greek cultural group that might be interested in a discussion), please email me—I'd love to consider it.
