Thanks for all your kind thoughts, ladies–they worked. The mass was benign on first biopsy and the dr is confident the result will be the same when the more thorough biopsy comes back on Monday. I can’t pick up the baby yet but my parents are in town so I have lots of help and am SO relieved. I really appreciate all your prayers and thoughts on my behalf,

everything is going to be absolutely fine. Do not worry unnecessarily. My grand mother always used to say one shouldn’t worry before one is sure one has to, because things turn out completely differently, and some things that really do happen are totally unexpected.

Robin, I love pink champagne every bit as much as I love a freebie. That is supercool of the waiter but I think it actually proves my point; being married for 21 years–even to a man as mature and capable as Uncle Bob–is somewhat like being a mom. The freebies are the universe’s way of saying “thank you”. Let the celebration continue!
